School Board Policy 6.310 - Clear or mesh backpacks

We are so excited to be back in school and have loved seeing all our students’ happy faces fill the halls once again! As we dive back into our routines, we want to express our gratitude for your ongoing partnership in creating a safe and welcoming environment for all our students.

To help us maintain this positive atmosphere, we would like to share a friendly reminder regarding our district’s safety guidelines, specifically School Board Policy 6.310. This policy helps our staff ensure a secure campus while keeping daily routines running smoothly.

According to the policy: "Bookbags must be constructed from materials that allow the contents of the bookbag to be visible."

To comply with this requirement, students should use clear or mesh backpacks. These materials allow for necessary visibility while helping our staff maintain an efficient and secure campus.
